Luke and I grew up in the same small town and crossed paths throughout our lives, but our story didn’t truly begin until my senior year of high school. After one of my friends encouraged Luke to take me to prom, he asked me to go—and that one invitation changed everything.

We went to prom together, started dating later that month, and have been inseparable ever since. While I headed off to college and Luke began working alongside his dad, we continued building a relationship rooted in friendship, faith, and love. After graduation, I moved back home to begin my career as a teacher, and we continued dreaming about our future together.

One of our favorite parts of our story is that, according to Luke’s dad, Luke had a crush on me all the way back in middle school. Looking back now, it seems God was writing our story long before either of us realized it.

After years of growing up together, making memories, and supporting one another through every season, Luke asked me to be his wife. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most and cannot wait to become husband and wife.
